Waterproofed my keyfob (lots of pictures)

So i was waiting for a huge disk restore to run at work, and i decided to waterproof my keyfob, I live in Calgary where it was flooded earlier this year, it could happen again and i dont feel like paying hundreds for a replacement fob.

the unmodified aquapac was a little large, and that silica gel pack was a little over kill, so i decided to downsize it a little.

its small and thin enough that i don't even really notice it.

EDIT: i found out the Local Mountain Equipment Co-op has EV/Low emit parking!

Am I missing something? The last image is the same as the first? Still looks large and has the gel pack?

i got a smaller silica pack, and cut the aquapac to be shorter so it fits in my pocket better

I believe Brian33, during a petit mal brain heist, swam with his KeyFob in New Hampshire this summer, and it worked just fine after.
Past performance is no indication of future returns. I'm just saying.

i think he got lucky, any electronic board will prematurely fail if exposed to water while a voltage/current source is present (battery)
