Red Supercharger dots in CA today and Fall 2013

if you look at the Tesla Supercharger map on the website it shows 9 red dots in CA. When you move the bar over to Fall 2013 there are now 11 red dots (indicating already open locations) along with a bunch of grey dots indicating SC locations that are supposed to open during that period. The two additional red dots appear to coincide with speculation previously noted regarding Oxnard or Ventura and San Juan Capistrano. Does this mean these two red dots may be open soon? Anyone notice any new construction activity?

They removed the Summer 2013 map, but didn't update the dot color for the Fall 2013 map. Both the Oxnard and SJC superchargers were supposed to open before the end of summer. I don't know about Oxnard, but for SJC, construction hasn't started, so they will certainly miss that date.

Oxnard Supercharger construction has not yet started. We "expect" the chargers to be at "The Collection" in Oxnard. It is a mall with a Whole Foods. There is some business that needs to be ironed out with the City of Oxnard first.

BTW: City of Oxnard is installing some J1772 chargers not at The Collection but downtown. They are going to charge $2.25 per hour! Almost the price of gasoline for the miles earned. My prediction; nobody will use the chargers.
