All that makes the Formula AE look great on paper: a 0-60 time of less than 4 seconds, a top speed of 155 mph and covered with some flexible photovoltaic panels. Oh, and this thing would have a range of more than 200 miles per 1.5 hour charge.

Rory: The way in which the system will specifically work is classified, but I can tell you that there will be a flap that closes at the point where the energy lost under the drag of the ducting is greater than the energy recovered from air. Our system is currently giving us 200 volts at <40 mph wind speed...
Umm, if they actually wanted to talk about energy recovery wouldn't they want to use watts? Volts are fairly meaningless in this context.
Also isn't the term classified typically used only for government secrets?
