should we have a sticky on the etiquette of charging in the wild? will people follow the rules/suggestions?
Here are some examples:
1. Only park in an EV Charging spot if you intend to charge your car.
2. When plugged in, leave info on your charging timelines (when you anticipate being done charging) or leave contact info.
3. Don't unplug another EV owners car without their permission.
4. Don't plug into a charging station to do a timed charge (eg, plug in at 8 am, and set the car to begin charge at 6 pm).
5. Don't hog a charging station. Charge your car enough to get to the next destination/charging location (+ buffer). This is an iffy suggestion.
