I love the fact EVs are quiet and do not generate noise pollution.
Imo it is UNREASONABLE to ask EVs to generate noise pollution like a ICE car,
so
please fight off the pressure as much as possible to create any kind of artificial noise, but if anti-EV-initiative noise is needed, consider making a Quiet Horn:
you press on a button to briefly generate (6 sec) "as much noise" as a Lexus LS 600h,
so if you see an old lady like the one that complained about the absence of noise pollution (paid by Exxon or what?) at the meeting,
then instead of giving her a heart attack with a normal horn to signal your presence, you press the courtesy Quiet Horn,
and make a weeee bit of bare minimum Lexus-ish presence sound.
