Whoa! 244 not 221.

Two newspaper articles published today are still mentioning 220 Miles per charge.

Didn't they get the memo? I am particularly surprised by AutoBlog Green:
Driven: 2009 Tesla Roadster v1.5 - AutoblogGreen

The company is quoting a range of about 220 miles per full charge. As highway driving – sans regenerative braking – uses up more electrons than stop-and-go driving, we think it would be fun to demonstrate that carving canyons in a Tesla is more efficient than driving to Bakersfield.

The vehicle isn't just speedy, it has a range of 220 miles on a single charge, which puts it well ahead of most electric cars.

Is the company backing off on its 244 claim, or are just many writers not doing a very good job of researching? It has been over a month now since those numbers were revised upwards, you would think daily periodicals would have noticed by now.
