dpeilow,
nice write-up, thanks!
James,
the car VIN #2 of the EU signature series is not a sport, its a standard. Interior in two grey tones, execetive leather option, which looks just GREAT in natural and detail.
The sport has the execetive leather option also, will all pemium black interior. So no accent colors on the seats, and dashboard fully covered with black leather, but no contrast stitching (black stitching instead).
I have some interios shots of the sports too, but they all got to dark, so I decided not to upload them. I did not want to use the flash in the crowdy room to out myself as some kind of tourist
You may also have noted the new door sill solution - premium leather on main part of the door sill, on the part where the scratches may be there is some plastic/kevlar/whatever inserted pad/part.
Rich Brits queue to buy Teslas - mirror.co.uk
By Quentin Willson
This week I was at the launch of Tesla's new dealership in Mayfair and was amazed at the wide-eyed excitement in a room packed with motor mandarins and millionaires.
...
More amazing still, in the two hours I was there £500,000 worth of Tesla Roadsters were sold.
In fact, at one stage there was a small queue.

Yet another article quoting this:
The Tesla Roadster might not be blessed with the noise and excitement of a 'proper engine', and it might take several hours to recharge, but Tesla looks as though it is here to stay. It says it has 1300 orders across Europe for the Roadster, is planning an 'entry-level' RHD Roadster for early next year and is taking 'reservations' for the Model S saloon, due for launch towards the end of 2011.
A few hundred kilometers off topic:
Any word on when Munich is going to open? Did anyone hear something?
Alpinedriver did ask that question. I think he said August.
PM him for clarification.
