That's awesome!! I'm glad they also included those EV's that park in the spot and don't charge. It's the equivalent of parking at a gas pump...

My god that Yahoo article's comment thread is filled with conservative anti-science trolls. I live in WA and am happy this is now law.

Passed the House and Senate, so I believe it's just waiting to be signed into Law by the gov, but this article states that it has an active date in early August: Washington State Will Soon Fine Gas Cars Parked At Electronic Charging Stations
