    See Reuters Article

VW is reportedly using large format Panasonic batteries in the upcoming e-Golf.

But has this additional production line actually already been built yet?
And has the other line at a separate Osaka plant actually already been re-started yet?

But have the operations actually already begun yet (as spring 2014 already has begun)?

Meaning: "How much progress has Panasonic made up to now with the abovementioned plans?

Panasonic's style is to build out production only according to actual shipping demand. This is one reason that they have not committed to the Gigafactory. They are a very conservative Japanese company that does not currently have a lot of excess capital on hand. Restarting the idled line in Osaka is presumably pretty easy, but I doubt anyone outside Panasonic actually knows the answers to your questions.

    OK

We know that the demand is actually already there. Tesla Motors wants Panasonic to deliver more 18650 battery cells. The sooner the better.
