    Meaningless data point. Another neighbor had their PV system installed today. This is the 3rd house on our cul-de-sac of 17 homes to go solar. Hopefully we can talk some more neighbors to do so.

    Don't, or you will blow the substation!
    This sort of fear mongering was spouted out by utilities in Germany. They spread fears of over-voltage if a complete street would install roof top solar. In the end, some transformers had to be replaced with models that were up to the task.

    Of course EVs are unpatriotic -- they steal jobs from the military, because we won't have to fight meaningless, decade-long wars to protect our oil supply.

    I took a photo yesterday of one of the two large solar projects in California Valley Also the Topaz Project.

    Below is a photo from the best vantage I could get, but the panels installed are about 1/4 mile wide and a 2 miles long. This project will eventually cover 8 square miles, producing over 250 megawatts.
