Tesla DC First Weekly Tesla Circuit Meet-Up (4/7/2013)

Here's the info from the email invite:

Tesla Motors K Street would like to invite you, and everyone you know, to our very first weekly Tesla Circuit Meet-Up, this week at Half Note Lounge, 4881 Glenn Dale Rd, Bowie, MD 20720.

This Meet-Up is taking place on April 7th at 10am. Half Note Lounge is owned by one of our Model S owners.

This is a great opportunity to network, talk Tesla, and enjoy a morning with fellow owners and enthusiasts. We will also have a raffle for Tesla merchandise. All you need to do is show up and provide us with your information.

We look forward to seeing you at our first Tesla Circuit Event!

Another member already posted but I thought it could use it's own thread. I'm most likely going. Anyone else from here going?

While NC isn't exactly Mid-Atlantic, the DC store is the closest one for all of NC near as I can figure.

I'd definitely consider attending if there was a Supercharger somewhere between NC and DC, so if this does end up being a regular gathering, I could see it drawing a few folks from the south once there is a viable way to get there and back without slow-charging.

News of this spread mostly by word of mouth. There may be more coming up.

On Memorial Day there's going to be an Electric Vehicle Rally in Rock Creek Park to try to beat the number of 54 electric cars that gathered there exactly 99 years earlier in 1914. There probably hasn't been that many EVs together in Washington since then.

Cool. That's me pulling up in the video.

I'm really glad I went out for this event. Great turn out. Unfortunately I forgot everyone's name instantly.

Met up with some of the meetup group people for lunch and will most likely check out some of their events.

Was there a custom color Model S there? I thought I saw a dark purplish color. Might have been the sun playing tricks with my eyes.
