Default URL now "blogs" instead of "forum"?

I noticed that all my bookmarks are now redirecting me to the blogs section, instead of the forum section of the board.

They all point to Tesla Motors Club - Enthusiasts & Owners Forum - Recent Blogs Posts - Blogs and it appears the default action on the forums is to display the blog section.

By design?

Yeah, we figured blogs made a less overwhelming landing page. We'll try it out for a bit.

Thanks. Just a pain in the ass because all of my bookmarks and "most commonly visited" links that I used are now going to blogs instead.

Coming back after a few months off (because my previous habits weren't going to scale with the influx of Model S folks), the new landing page is indeed less overwhelming. Much less so.

Yeah, it's interesting to watch all the rehashing going on with Model S folks. I haven't had one Model S driver wave back at me, even. Jeez, what's Tesla ownership coming to, a commodity?

Me too, I'm making the conscious effort to type '/forum' every time I go so it becomes the first choice in the address bar.

I'd like to throw my vote behind switching it back to the forum view. The Blogs simply aren't updated that often so the content looks a bit stale. Also, do only certain people's blogs appear on the front page?

Just my opinion, but I find being directed to the blog page is annoying. If there is a problem with them being "buried" then I'm sure there is a better solution.

I was certain that I had inadvertently changed something to cause the blogs to appear, until I saw this topic. I spent a good while trying to find out where to switch it back to 'forum'. Now I know where...Hey Doug!

I too, prefer the forum setting.

Can we leave the blog setting as default, but have an option somewhere (maybe in personal settings or something) to change it to forum?
