Has anybody gotten a delivery window for Standard Suspension?

I seriously doubt it. Since it starts production in March, I wouldn't expect any delivery windows until very close to March at the earliest. This is just based on the fact that the 60's started production in January, and the first delivery windows didn't appear until Dec 30th, and since so many things are starting in March I wouldn't be surprised if the first window is a fair bit later. This is definitely way too early for people to be seeing windows. Don't worry, when the first window appears you'll see it in lots of threads.

I read some report somewhere saying they haven't even designed it yet, or inside ppl saying that it hasn't even really given much thought as the car was never intended to have standard suspension in the first place. It was only added later to try and bring the costs down below $50k. I wouldn't keep my hopes up on getting this any time soon as I'm sure they're swamped with other stuff.

Darkwax, I'm just behind you with a 60kwh + std. suspension in the 10,000s. I put in a call and email today and will post if I hear anything back. Most recent thing I heard from Tesla was April/May, though they said they were being "conservative." The waiting gets harder with each passing day...

Just got a callback from Tesla. The answer was that "a whole bunch of new production configurations are starting in March: standard suspension, 40kwh, and Sunset Red, so there's just no way to predict how that will impact scheduling, but most likely it means that a few standard suspensions will be produced in March, but most will be pushed into April and May." That sounds less like it's conservative and more like realistic, I think. Doesn't sound too promising on the interest rate...

Ok, got a second response today and was told NOT to count on an April delivery. Since a delay past May 1 will cost me $600+ for an interest rate increase, I am switching to air suspension (delivery specialist ok'ed it) which brings the window to April 1-April 30...I figure the net cost is now < $900.

Hit the Trifecta! BASE 40. RED. NON-AIR. Not selling my car any time soon

my number is 4271 and I am dissappointed but will not change the config to add the suspension just to get it earlier. Ordered 60kw with 19" and sunroof. Cant believe that there were soooo many people that did NOT order the Suspension upgrade that they are moving all the way into the 10000 numbers to fill the current orders. What is up with that?

It isn't just the suspension upgrades that got passed over. It is also the (likely thousands of) 40 kwh cars plus the sunset reds, plus deferrals, etc.

I reserved my car back in August as Reservation 11,200+, and was asked to finalize on December 13. I finalized on an 85 KWh standard suspension with sunroof, tech and audio. I knew that Standard suspension could push back delivery since it wasn't set to start in production till March. To my surprise, I received a Delivery Information Request on Feb. 17 with a Delivery Window of March 13-27. When I called the Delivery Group they said this might be in error and they would get back to me. After several calls and emails, I got this pretty official sounding word just today:

"As of now, your Model S has yet to receive a VIN assignment, but it looks like it should have one in the next couple of days! Once your VIN is assigned, we will notify you by email so you can start to get your insurance in place.

I project that your Model S will likely put in transit in ~ 3 weeks, which should align closely with the end of your Delivery Window."

Pretty exciting. Hopefully that means standard suspension production is gearing up fast

Just signed the MVPA and final payment for my 85kw with standard suspension. P#2681 , VIN 6759. Car is done and ready to be loaded onto a truck for home delivery possibly as early as March 16.
