Best Car in The Doctor's Lot

It seems that many Tesla owners may be physicians like myself and one of the best parts of my day is pulling into the physicians parking lot at the hospitals I frequent. The Model S really stands out among all the Mercedes, BMWs, Porsche, etc already in the lot and daily I get one of the my fellow colleagues asking about the car. Most have already heard about it but have not seen one in the flesh. They are all very impressed with the car and of course I give it a great review. I think a few also have gone on to make reservations. I think the Tesla is going to become the new "it" car for physicians.

Any other Tesla physicians with similar experiences?

I work (or at least have been for a year) onsite at a manufacturing plant. Word got out Wednesday afternoon there was a Tesla parked out by our companies trailer. I can hear everything going on outside.

Sitting at work (surfing TMC) I have randomly heard "Oh, $H!7" or "D4MN!" almost a dozen times in the past two days. As more and more plant employees come out to gawk.

My coworker commented that my car is making a lot of people smile. I told him we call it the 'Tesla grin'.

I am a neurologist and for past 2 months when I parked my car in the hospital lot, many colleagues ask me about it as well.
Lots of them think this is hybrid car and or combined gas and electric I have to explain them it does not use any gas
Zero emission is the way to go

Yep, getting lots of attention. I started the trend of hybrids with my Prius almost 10 years ago, now there are a dozen or so docs with those. Very few cars that can even come close to the Tesla...my fellow ED doc has an Audi S7 that is sweet and I know one of the ophtho guys is a huge car guy, but he never drives his best cars to work.

I'm a nephrologist. Former driver of a Honda Civic Hybrid, now driving this amazing car.
Getting lots of questions/thumbs up at each traffic light stop on the way to the hospital, and at the hospital parking garage itself.
Slowly but steadily spreading the word about Tesla and Model S around here (and converting naysayers by taking them out for a quick spin :)

Still waiting patiently but will surely be the first one at my hospital. Neurologist. But also GP and planning ongoing back to my family pratice next year. Over here family practitioners/GPs make better money than the hospital specialists (even the attending) - go figure! :)
