don't you mean (option-0)
He does, even though he says Nope. alt-248 gives me ™¢• :wink:
Weird. My PCs have given me the degree symbols reliably for alt-248 for over 15 years (it may be 20 years...). Maybe you're using a different device.He does, even though he says Nope. alt-248 gives me ™¢• :wink:

Are you all speaking in a foreign language?
Yes, we're currently speaking in what is for us a foreign language. Our natural language is C++.
I must be showing my age. The only programming language I have even remotely mastered was 8086 assembly
If you said 6502 or 6800 assembly, you'd get more age credit. I rather liked the 6800 instruction set, a beautiful beautiful processor. The 8086 instruction set was designed by some type of flailing monkey with 2 sticks of chalk in each of its hands in front of a divided-table chalkboard.

"Back in the day" I was writing Z80 assembly for TRS-80, and 6502 assembly for CBM PET & VIC...
8086=Original PC.
80286...80386...80486... Then Pentium vs Sparc... The old CISC vs RISC days.
