Submit new thread, needs to be approved by moderator?

I'm sure it has something to do with posting a link in the body of my message, but it seems odd that a new post would have to be approved by a moderator, seeing that I have something like 600 posts on the site... This is the 2nd time I've seen this in the past few weeks.

A lot of boards do this. If the content is little more than a sentence or two with a link, the board assumes it's spam.

Either be more verbose, or post your topic first, then edit the post to add your link.

Posts to the News section have to be approved since we get a lot of stuff there that don't belong. I assume that's where you posted.
