Looks like the Enertia is finally coming to fruition:
Greentech - An Electric Glide, at a Price - NYTimes.com
The first Enertias will roll out of Brammo’s headquarters this summer. These first bikes will have a range of 45 miles at 25 m.p.h. (as with any battery-powered vehicle, maxing out the speedometer will significantly decrease the range). Mr. Bramscher expects to ramp up production into the tens of thousands quickly and employ 80 to 100 people by the end of the year.![]()

Great article about the Zero S by Zero Motors. I can't afford a Tesla, but the wife has approved this bundle of electric joy until the Model S comes out!
Neal Saiki: Sustainable Performance
Exellent piece.
Has anyone found some great coverage on the Isle of Man EM race?
The AGB coverage is kinda weak as I have been emailing all my past and present biker friends on this event and want to wrap it up with some stories that excite.

Isle of Man hosts first ever zero-emissions race on TT circuit at TTXGP | Environment | guardian.co.uk
...Plans are already under way for next year's race - in 2010, the bikes will race for two laps with a pit-stop half way to swap batteries. There will also be a category for electric cars, which has already attracted the interest of companies such as Elon Musk's California-based electric car company, Tesla...
Spoiler Alert! TTXGP winner is...

Looks like the event was a big success. I caught some of the TTXGP build up coverage before leaving for France, but it appears that ITV has decided not to put this on their catchup service. However, there are torrents out there.
I'd worry about how the plans to include cars in next year's event will go down with the bikers.
