Looks like the photo was done with a green screen!! Lighting is wrong, and transition at the rear of the photo is off.

Yes, sure. TEG will shortly post the original sunset picture, along with GPS coordinates where it was taken. Plus the facebook accounts of the 4 riders.

OK. Real plus fake. Based on the video and other shot it looks like they are there on the beach hill (shot with flash) but the sky has been reworked significantly.

Yeah, that would be my take too. Still call it a great photo even if they had to rework it.
I gather they did a photo event with multiple video and still cameras and made multiple productions out of all the material they collected.
By the way, Zero HQ is in the Santa Cruz mountains in a really beautiful area not very far from the beach. That photo shoot could just be a ride down the hill from their office.

The recent International Milan Motorcycle show had a ton of electrics, including the upcoming Energica from CRP Racing. (Pictured below) Here's a pretty thorough wrap up of the show, though it doesn't include any of the (many) scooters – including Vectrix – who had product there.
I'm really liking the CRP sport bike! Maybe after I get a Model S or X I can think about picking one of these up.
