Tesla announces PR partner

Following the decision, announced in April tihs year, to enter the European market, Tesla Motors has been busy finding a suitable PR partner to help them.

Today the company announced it was to team up with Automotive PR for a three month media launch project this summer, aimed at promoting the world's first all-electric sports car.

Automotive PR to support European media launch project [/FONT]​

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Following its April 9, 2008 announcement to enter the European market, Tesla Motors has chosen Automotive PR as its partner for the three month media launch project this summer of the world’s first all-electric sports car. The California-based electric vehicle pioneer generated enormous media interest in the US with its announcement of the series production 125 mph Tesla Roadster. The second half of 2008 will see the company enter Germany, the UK and other major European markets.[/FONT]
[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Throughout the summer Tesla Motors will display its products in a number of countries and locations, starting with next weekend’s grueling “24h of Le Mans” where Tesla has been invited to bring its all-electric sports car. July will see Tesla Motors appear at the London “Salon Privé” from 2 to 4 July, followed by the legendary “Goodwood Festival of Speed” in the south of England on the weekend 11-13 July.[/FONT]

Automotive PR to launch electric car

Automotive PR has been hired to launch the world's first all-electric sports car in Europe.

The agency has been brought on board by Tesla Motors for the launch project this summer.
The California-based electric car pioneer will enter the car in the UK, German and other European markets in the second half of 2008.
The 125mph Tesla Roadster has already been launched in the US earlier this year.
The car will be showcased in the UK at the London Motor Show and Goodwood Festival of Speed next month. Automotive will handle the media relations activity for the launch.
The Tesla Roadstar is 100 per cent electric and can travel from 0 to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds.
