Not any time soon. They may order some dies in the next 3 months. And get them 6 months later.

When they announce they will make the first deliveries of Model X (probably Nov-Dec 2013).

They will probably have them done manually by some 3rd party sheet metal fabricator. They wont be made the same way as their mass produced panels.

Never! Ok, maybe on their 2nd or 3rd major model revision, about 10 years from now, non-falcon doors might be an option.

Yes it will make the X much smoother. Mostly due to logistics and labor being figured out. This is really hard on an assembly line to get smooth. I imagine that fitment will be the major problem ramping up the Model X, since it is supposed to be made on the same line as the S.

It will be interesting to see if future factory tours will enable future owners to confirm from a "distance" the construction of the Model X assembly line?
Or if it will be completely isolated from public view? For those who have taken the tour can you tell if they remodeled a big enough area of the old car factory from dingy to bright white and clean which is what we see now?

Why do you think that there are X dies on the mfg floor already? They've only shown a prototype ... Seems early to be putting dies in place.
