    Icon5 Ev routing for roadtrips?

Is there an app that I can put a destination in and see the charging stations along the way. When i get my model s I want to visit my friend in redding and I live in san francisco. I want to plan the trip around charging stations. Is there an app that currently does this? Or an app that shows the best ev route to your destination?

It would be nice if there was app that focused on high level (fast) chargers. Fast chargers are not that plentiful in Texas and long distance trips are not that easy to plan.
I would bet that sales for Tesla will be limited in states like Texas until fast charging becomes easier to find and trip planning is not the challenge that it is today.

Here is a site that allows you to plan a route and lists stations along the route.

Alternative Fuels Data Center: Electric Vehicle Charging Station Locations

    Good luck

I second that thanks. openchargemaps seems way too hard to use on the screen, so I'd just found carstations, but this seems even better.

    Very cool!

Don't forget to toggle the advanced search options to increase the distance from your route that chargers will be included. By default it includes stations within 5 miles of your route but I have found the number of chargers can increase dramatically if you are willing to deviate even 10 miles from the route.

If you have dual chargers, you probably want to check out the "Tesla Highway" map that lists all the numerous 70A chargers up and down the west coast.

California only...wonder why it's not the entire US? Doesn't seem it would take any extra work.
