I've used the Navigon software on my iPhone for a couple of years now, and one of the features I like is that it shows the speed limit for the road you're on. Also warns you if you are exceeding it. In that the map system used in the small display is Navigon, wish it would utilize that feature. Maybe an update down the road.
Do you plan on driving below the speed limit in your Model S??
It's nice to know so you can keep it within 25 MPH above the posted speed limit.

I don't know. If it is anything like my GTI the effeciency will drop like a rock above 80mph. I should know I cruise at 85+mph most of the time. When someone else drives my car on a road trip they seem to get another 50 miles out of a tank!You can probably extrapolate:

Highway constructions costs are a lot like aerodynamic resistance--they both go up very quickly as the speed is increased.
