Thread: "TMC"

    "TMC"

There was a reference in another thread about confusion of the meaning of "TMC" as "Tesla Motors Club" vs. "Telsa Motors corp".

When signing a check, I was reminded of that post...

The official name of the car maker is "Tesla Motors, Inc." (as you can see on their quarterly reports, for example). Thus "TMI" not "TMC".

    Ambiguity resolved.

This has come up several times before. For our purposes, in the context of this website, TMC means us, Tesla Motors Club. Please use TM if you want to abbreviate Tesla Motors, the company. For Toyota, just say Toyota.

And "perf"-- I still see 'perforated' and think it referees to the leather seats briefly every time I see it.

That's okay. I see pano roof or piano black and see "Plano" (e.g. Plano, Tx)

And I think of film perforations of different types (Kodak and Bell and Howell) that run along camera film. (remember film?)
