South Coast EV Drivers (SoCEV) Meet-Up

There is a planned EV drivers meet up to discuss a council backed project to roll out charging stations in the county.

If interested, please let me know your availability.

OK we are going ahead with this Saturday week (17th) at 1pm. The venue is Port Solent near M27 J12. We have drivers coming from as far afield as Brighton and Bournemouth so this is roughly the central point.

Had a really good meeting this afternoon. About half the known EV people in the area could attend. No Teslas though.

Sadly, I can't attend this weekend unless my family commitments change due to snow problems ! As it is, we're snowed in at present, and the forecast is for 3 more days of it.

Do you know the dates of any future events ??

No fixed dates as yet, but the aim is to make it bimonthly.

We had a good meet-up this afternoon. The roads were clear, despite the BBC's best efforts to convince us the apocolypse was upon us. Quite an enjoyable snowy drive home on the back roads.

A Leaf and I had to share a 16A socket. We split it 10/6. Once he had enough to get to the next rapid charger I went back to 16A and we both got home on electrons.
