Dear Tesla Enthusiasts,

The American Lung Association in California will be hosting its 12th annual Fight for Air walk on Saturday, Nov. 3 at Quarry Lakes Regional Park in Fremont to raise funds and awareness in support of healthy lungs and healthy air. We are looking for Tesla owners who would be willing to display their cars and come out and walk with us. We'd especially love to have a Tesla team participate in the event. We share Tesla's mission! The American Lung Association in California has been the public health leader in advocating for electric vehicles to fight air pollution and global warming and we would love to partner with Tesla owners and Tesla employees in the area.
The first part of the walk will include educational booths on what it’s like to walk in the shoes of a person who suffers from asthma, COPD, or other lung diseases. Lung health educational stations will test your knowledge of lung disease, air quality, tobacco impacts and the environment. There will be a display of electric cars and other ways to reduce air pollution that will improve the quality of life for those with lung disease and improve the environment for everyone. Along the way, walkers will enjoy beautiful lakes and wildlife, and experience the many wonders that Quarry Lakes has to offer.
Registration begins at 8AM, and the opening ceremony will be at 8:45 am, with the walk commencing at 9AM. Bring your family and friends for a day in the park and an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Bay Area residents who suffer from lung disease, including 100,000 children with asthma. All levels are invited. Light refreshments will be provided.
We'd love to hear from you. For more information, please visit our website http://www.lung.org/pledge-events/ca/fremont-walk-fy13/ or contact Missy Cantor at 510-928-3158
