TM isn't just going to show up at people's houses with a car and then ask for a draft for $100K. I would expect that once the cars are ready to ship they will notify people and from that point there will be a one to two week window.

I got the same call. What do you mean by Taking your new plates over this week? When I asked they said they believed that Tesla would be getting the plates (at least for Ontario). For Quebec no confirmation yet on how it was going to work.

Did you have the option for store pickup? I went through everything quickly because I was so excited, but I remember it mentioning the possibility but when I entered my postal code there was only a home delivery option.
Yes I did, although I asked them to phone me to confirm it wouldn't delay things.
I'd pick it up if it would save time! It said the service center by the way. That's only about 30 minutes from me.
