For those who listened to this when it was first posted:

Part 1 was apparently accidentally truncated when they initially posted it. As of today, 17 December 2007 Zak from Tesla has replaced it with the full version.

If you listened to the original part one, you can redownload the new part one and fast-forward in about 16 minutes to hear the parts that were not there the first time around.

For some reason, Elon referred repeatedly to the Roadster motor as "200 horsepower". I wonder why he didn't say 248...

Executives tend to fudge the details. This happens at every company.

Overall, I thought it was a good discussion. They had enough time to go over just about all the issues that have been nagging Tesla in the last 6 months.

Considering the delays, they seemed like a fairly genial group. Lots of laughter.
