It looks like Martin's lawsuit has already had an impact.
Look at the wording in this article...

Musk sees an open road to clean energy use - San Francisco Business Times:

Quote:
When Musk got involved with Tesla in 2004, a year after its founding, his goals were to accelerate the transition to the electric transportation system, as well as make Tesla a viable entity.

Nice.

The whole subject of college was glossed over too.

I also saw an article in the last couple days (can't find the link) that referred to ME as the "former founder" of Tesla. Nice that it used ME and founder in the same sentence, but "former"? Isn't that like saying, after my divorce, that I'm the former father of my kids?

The article is on "AllCarsElectric". I took issue with that description too.

They said, 'Well, if their boss was an asshole, they had recourse.' "I said, 'Let's make a rule: There will be no assholes.' I fired someone for being an asshole. And I only had to do that once, actually.

former conceptualist
former baby's mother
former inventor of
former originator
former co-founder
All are equally absurd.

If you at all believe that Martin was not the founder then take a look at this video that was made before Elon pushed him out of the company. You can see how excited Martin is that that they were just about to go into Production:
Martin Eberhard of Tesla Motors speaks to the Motor Press Guild

At the same time you play the video, watch this slide show the audience saw:
http://www.teslamotors.com/display_data/pressguild.swf

And Elon was in the audience.

From that slide show:

That date is before Elon came on the scene, I believe.

Yes, Elon bought into Tesla Motors in April 2004, AFAIK.

I don't think anyone here is doubting that Martin is one the founders?
