Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: At the centre of that crowd :-) Posts: 327 | As aggrevating as he is; Toyota still sells the Prius and are pressing on with the Plug in version and the new three seater city bev, Tesla has announced an even quicker version of the Roadster, BMW still can't make enough X3's to meet demand, Vauxhall (GM UK) is still in business and we're not all driving Lambo's!
His writings are funny and amusing but despite his popularity he doesn't steer the car industry, he needs their support them more than they need his.
Just wish I could remind myself of that when he trashes the roadster and pimps hydrogen.

Hopefully this "public spat" gets Tesla some future customers who stopped by just to see what all the fuss was about. (Trying to make lemonade here.) |

The only difference is that since there is no ICE to provide vacuum, there is an electric vacuum pump. That is the part that failed and required that the fuse be replaced. |

The nature of the failure is what could use some clarification. |
