Well it's official. The Tesla/Top Gear controversy is now bigger news than the Roadster's appearance on the show.

...says Tesla Motors, which stores its cars’ driving history in memory sticks. In fact, it didn’t lose its charge at all....
Of course! I thought the claim came from a Tesla person and maybe it did, but the car's memory would be a confirmation of the facts.

Tesla could publish it but I'm thinking they should just let it go...

It’s just a shame that in the real world, it doesn’t seem to work.
It seemed to be working quite well, and I wouldn't call the TG test track "the real world"

BBCA's TG the other night had Hammond driving in a Lambo Merc and having a great time in it. Then he spent 4 minutes of the show trying to put the soft top on with some Italian locals. Ha Ha.

Top Gear believes that bashing the Tesla for having battery paradigm is the same as wanking around on some superficial aspect of a car.
