Well this time they printed the article in the Science and Technology section:-
FIRST TEST DRIVER: Behind the wheel of the electric Tesla Roadster, powered by mobile phone batteries | Mail Online

Same old "I don't like it, it's quiet............too quiet" remarks in the new article.

Along with the quiet horn, it needs a LOUD stereo.

The same article also appeared in tonight's Evening Standard and an abbreviated version on page 2 of the free London Lite.

Green machine - the 125mph electric car | News

This is significant because the former tends to get read by city banker types and the latter by the rest of us to pass the time on the train home, even if we'd never buy the Daily Mail.

Oh yeah - spot the difference in the pictures...

You are very welcome. I'm generally very pleased with the response from the British media, so its good to be able to pass that on to you guys. And there was the small matter of that little bonus

Incidentally I may need to come to San Jose some time soon. I was hoping I could have made it one side of this weekend, but the boss changed the plans.

Perhaps we can schedule our next Bay Area meet up to coincide with your trip.

That would be very cool. Things round here tend to be quite last minute, but if it happens I'll try and give as much warning as possible.

What that rhetorical?
Obviously the pedestrians and cars in the background are totally different. He must have sat there for quite some time getting a lot of pix taken.

Was there something else notable that is different?

Nothing of consequence no - just a bit of fun. Not sure why they'd bother replacing the picture for the Evening Standard's story though, when the text in that was identical to the Daily Mail.

That's not a great place to stop for other traffic, but excellent for the publicity.
