Seems Martins car is finished now

A new blog up on Tesla's blogpage by Darryl Siry where he mentions among other things that Martins car had issues with the roof fit as the cause of the delay.

Interesting read if not much new info for us that frequent these boards :)

This is the first blog post where he mentioned Martin or Marc by full name after that crazy year end. He also mentioned they are co founders. At least something...

Any guess who got VIN003?

I'm guessing either Arnold, or one of the Google guys. Or possibly one of the other investors or board members. Someone closely associated with the company.

Only 6 more to go to complete the founders series. After that, they get to some of the owners who are not as much company insiders.

Number 3 or number 2 as it was called at the open house is the gentlemans from eBay. See my more detailed account here:

Eh? I thought there were going to be something like 25 cars in the Founders' Series. Then the Signature One Hundred, and then the rest.

But that's just my vague recollection, I could be wrong.

Where is this information from? Zak Edson from Tesla did post in the owners forum that there are 24 Founders' Series cars. Where was it stated that 18 cars were completed? That would be some great news!

I guess that means I can't cut the Signature 100 down to 50?

Whatever it takes to get my car out a little quicker!
