4 ICEs, 1 Tesla, 1 natural gas car (Honda Civic GX). Two year update - the ICE's don't get driven much anymore, Tesla is my daily driver and Honda is the back up. Both alternative fuel vehicles have about the same range (~200 miles) and after two years, Tesla has ~42K miles, Civic has ~39K miles. Maintenance costs are higher on the Tesla mainly because I've burned through 5 sets of rear tires but if I compare it to one of my other ICEs, the annual dealer maintenance/checkup is cheaper (~ $600 vs ~ $1500) and tire prices are about the same. Fuelwise, I've used ~ 11 MWhr of energy, or about $1200 worth of electricity (@ $0.11/kWhr) and $3000 of natural gas (@ $2.31/gge).
