    Scott,

In modifying your HPC to J1772. Why can't you attach both connectors and have two cables attached to your HPC to allow both types of charging. It would require placing another hole in the access to the HPC but that should not be an issue. Not chargin both cables at the same time, obviously, but for a private installation I believe this would be a benefit. Do you see any issues with this solution???

    Hello Scott451,
I searched members in San Diego who were posting and found you. Some of your excellent posts are related to my current interest - home charging for a soon-to-arrive- Tesla.
I dont want to post until my deal is completely done (I'm buying a used car and shipping it in).
However, if you'd be so kind, I'm looking for feedback on SDGE TOU rates. My initial search showed far higher rates for the 3 TOUs for electric vehicles across the board than the ~7c Kw/hr flat rate it appears I'm paying now.

Is there a San Diego or other local group of folks who are open for newby questions?

    Regards,
    Richard Jones rgjones@sbcglobal.net
