I am trying to get the appropriate SunPass stickers to exempt me from the I95 Express tolls.

The process seems complicated. After a while of researching, I determined I must first complete a form and take it to a DMV to get my HOV DECAL. Once that's completed, I am supposed to go online to http://www.i95express.com to get my I95 Express stickers.

Has anyone already done this process? Any shortcuts?

Thanks,
The Newest Tesla Owner,
Peter

This permit app was filed on 5/16, which I guess means they haven't started yet. The 5/16 date is interesting in that it's the same date that they filed for one in the state of Washington, which was found by the same sort of sleuthing. When I saw that one I decided to search around Florida. Perhaps they filed a bunch around the country on that date. Unfortunately, unlike in Washington, for Florida you have to search by city, unless it's in an unincorporated area (like this one) and then you can search by county, and you can only do it online for some of them. I have not searched them all, so perhaps others want to chip in.

This is the mall that was rumored here before.

Well, I finally broke down and made a reservation to attend TESLIVE.

On prior occasions I traveled with my wife to the Tesla Test Ride and GET AMPED events in California, and we had great times. However, so far the airfare for a convenient route (Sarasota to San Jose) is so expensive that she suggested that I travel alone this time. Depending on how geeky the break-out sessions turn out to be, I'm rationalizing that her sacrifice may actually be in her self interest.

TMC is checking with Tesla to see if it will be feasible to conduct factory tours, but this has not yet been confirmed so the date is currently unknown.

Any other Floridans planning on going?

The Florida Tesla Owners Group met up this afternoon at the Tampa Service Center and sort of made it it into an opening celebration for the premises there. The whole thing was largely arranged single handed by Larry Chanin, but a huge thank you to SC Manager Mark Laplant and his team who were gracious hosts. I'm sure Larry will modestly chime in and thank a bunch of folks who did lots of behind the scenes work (Mrs Larry looked pretty busy also!). Mark also did a good job to get the SC stocked with Tesla goodies and there seemed to be quite a bit of purchasing going on. Rogbmw was there with his wheel-hub stickers and Larry was very patient as we all climbed in and out of his car to take a look at Soflauthor's CCI.

I'd guess there was well over 100 people there and we counted at least 35 Model Ss. Here's a couple of pics, feel free to add to the thread:

I was at the Service Center briefly this week and had a chance to speak with Graham at the Dania Beach Service Center. He remarked that they will be expanding into the space directly next door to their existing space. He didn't mention a time frame but seemed excited that they were knocking down the wall so to speak. Currently there is no tenant next door, which is why there hasn't been an issue with parking the Model S'es that are awaiting delivery in front. If there was a next door tenant, Tesla would be in need of some serious storage. I counted at least 12 Model S'es that had the "ready for delivery" tag inside the vehicle.

Anyways, thought I'd share the news about expansion...
