Firefly strikes me as one of the few battery companies to actually watch. They've (relatively) quietly made improvements in the current lead acid batteries, and are now rolling out an impressive drop-in replacement for the trucking industry.

Rosemont is in my neighborhood. If anyone from Tesla wants to hire me and get me a pass to the conference, I'll stop by the booth and pick up some literature. (Insert appropriate smiley here).

I've been a follower of Firefly as well.

Love the story. Ask a guy who has no idea about something to solve a problem. Since he has no idea he can't do it he accomplishes a breakthrough.

I'm also impressed how quick to market they are coming.

Turns out it wasn't an actual production battery, just a mockup.

Group 31 battery possible for conversions?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of this tech compared to AGMs?

Edit: Nevermind found the answer within their site. And a competitor's for comparison.

The price of lithium is near or at the point where I'm not sure the Oasis has any advantage.
