Lead Cobalt Battery

Lead Cobalt Battery

I've been trying to find some info on a lead cobalt battery that apparently powered some early EV's in the 60's and 70's and is supposedly still undergoing development. Here's a link to the same question in another forum:

It seems to have some similarities to the Firefly battery, (foam core).
I thought I'd see if anyone here has more information.

Yeah, I was looking for some more recent information. I'm never too impressed with any announcement from ZAP.
Any word on their Silver Volt car, or battery availability?
