I don't think he reads this forum to be honest.

EEStor VP Says EESUs to be Delivered by End of 2009 - AllCarsElectric.com
Quote:
...
In a brand new interview with Tom Weir, who is VP of EEStor, the next steps for EEStor are laid out.
"Our objective is to complete component testing by September 2009, " says Weir. "In parallel, we will be finalizing our second objective which consists of the assembly processes necessary to deliver production quality components and/or EESU's by the end of 2009."...

I though this name was Dick Weir.

ETA: Ok.. I see now Tom some is some VP and not the CEO. Tom is Dick's brother? Is there another brother named Harry?

Yes there is a Harry Weir at EESTOR. Next year it will be Harry Weir's turn to state EESTOR's objective completion of component testing will be rescheduled to 2011 and or delivery EESU end of 2011 . Don't hold your breath. EESCAM is good for hype, press releases, and BS.

Great work Steve. Wish I had been following as closely as you to add to your compelation.
This one from May of 2009 is a good topper

That quote so beautifully tempts with words that sound like they are near a finish line but at the same time says nothing.

A not-very-revealing, but still new, article on EEStor:

The Oil Drum | Who Killed the Electric Gas Tank?

Quote:
The problem is that, while creative ideas and persistent attention to detail in engineering can solve almost any problem, you are sometimes stuck with what nature hands you. That [EEStor] came up with a secret recipe which has eluded so many others sure seems very unlikely -- but not impossible. Will it work? Ask me tomorrow.

EESTor update from ZENN CEO Ian Clifford; demonstrations coming in 2010

Quote:
First, some numbers. The EESU could be a 52kwh pack that provides a 250-mile range and only weigh 280 pounds. ZENN now owns 10.7 percent of EEStor, up from 3.8 percent. Thanks to EEStor's recent permittivity announcements, ZENN has paid EEStor another $700,000.

Now, the intangibles. Clifford told GM-Volt.com that he sees the EESU prototypes "on a regular basis" and is waiting for a production prototype to be delivered by the end of this year. Clifford said that there is a "full production facility" at EEStor's pilot production plant. Possible in-vehicle application of the EESU could be around 600V, which Clifford says, "increases the drive efficiency, it makes the components somewhat smaller, and ultimately less expensive and obviously for mass commercialization." He couldn't say if he's actually seen one of the production EESU's, claiming non-disclosure agreements. He did promise, "absolutely," that demonstrations will take place in 2010.

Why do I have this feeling of déjà vu when it comes to EEStor / Zenn?

As expected EESTor applied for an "Extension Request" and was approved by the USPTO,
ITU Unit Action
EESTor has not used the trademark in commerce, I wonder why?
Could it be they have no product (EESU) to sell?
EESTor is allowed 4 more 6 month extensions.
Get ready for more hyped press releases and milestone claims by EESTOR/Zenn.
I believe the shit will hit the fan by end of this year for EESCAM and Zenn. The bottom line is there will be NO EESU powering a CityZenn. Maybe a can opener .
