This Roadster drive sounds a lot like Martin's Roadster. I wonder if he knew about this one from 2004?

I read somewhere that Tesla's facility in Michigan has been "shuttered".

It isn't true. We still have a very active office there. Many of the folks there are focused on the WhiteStar program, but others are also assigned to the Roadster program, particularly around supply chain and other operational responsibilities.
