Tesla Fans in the Atlanta Metro Area come join our new group. Maybe we can even convince Tesla Motors to open a store here.

Aside from the Georgia Power location downtown, are there any 70A Level2 or HPC for visiting Roadsters in ATL?

Is this the Georgia Power one to which you refer?

Not sure that Georgia Power has a 70 amp HPC that is available to the public.

No that is an Atlantic Station charger. I think the Georgia Power one is downtown at their HQ building. I have not seen it thought.

That doesn't look like downtown. It looks like an Atlantic Station location. I thought the Georgia Power charger was at their building downtown.

So it is at Atlantic Station. The picture below was supposedly taken at the Georgia Power building.

No, I am pretty sure that is the Atlantic station. I have charged my Roadster there.
Seems to be a safe area, shops and very expensive hotels are walking distance from here.
Only 30A level2.

It may be possible to gain access to 70A at GP during business hours only if you can reach the right person there.
It is not at the public parking space.

I asked a friend that is in the know and the Tesla HPC at Georgia Power is in the Executive Parking garage so you are right you will have to go thru an executive to get a charge. They do have a 30 amp J1772 available to the public.

We don't have facebook, but your events look great. Sorry to have missed the last event a few weeks ago! Just put a deposit down on an S! Would like to test drive it before we commit, but no options in the Atlanta area. We live close to Chastain park inside the perimeter - any suggestions on how we might check out an S in person would be greatly appreciated!!

Cool. We may head down to check it out - another suggested option was to head up to the Marietta svc center... and drool....

The service center would certainly be a good place too.
