Tesla Motors has let go of some more employees, they cannot be listed.
Any reasons given or can we just speculate that the focus now is solely on the Roadster and anything related to R&D and Whitestar and such is too much dead weight at the moment? I hate hearing the news though...unless they sucked; I'm a fan of employment at-will.
Note, there is a new face on the Company Team (http://www.teslamotors.com/media/company_team.php) page...

Their employement page seems to list primarily engineering positions yet the latest team page additions have been in Finance and Legal...
I view some of these developments as IPO positioning.

I can only sigh over this news. So sad. :frown: And my guess is that these still won't be the last folks shown the exit.

Yes...and also an exercise reminiscent of a "Ship of Theseus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ship_of_Theseus)" problem. How many people must go before the company becomes something else entirely? What exactly will that company produce?
I have to echo WarpedOne: "Not waiting for the Whitestar anymore."
