Now, just line the highways with those and there won't be a problem with range anxiety.

At 6 hours to charge from 20%, you would have to have vast stretches of road with that underneath them. It will most likely be cheaper to simply strategically place level 3 chargers.

and WAYYYY more efficient. I think inductive charging is a nice concept but the loss of efficiency isn't worth the added convenience.
