There is a news at leftlanenews on Tesla future sedan (http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/11/23/tesla-to-offer-all-electric-sedan-too/).

We learn some more info on sedan:
- lightweight steel construction
- same 185kw drive, but only cca 200mile range
- 300mile range and more power for more expensive model

Also, higher peformance roadster version is in the works.

"A base model will offer around 250 horsepower and a range of 200 miles, while a more expensive variant will 300 mile range and greater output."

Aren't they referring to the sedan? 2 models is an excellent idea--may actually be able to hit their target of $50,000. That's when I buy.
