Ehhh, it's all idle speculation at this point. I don't always agree with Elon, but he wasn't wrong when he compared prototypes to full rate production.

I truly hope it will be a serious competitor and I hope Lucid will also challenge the X with the Galaxy. Consumer will be the winner here. If you're a diehard Tesla fan, you'll also be a winner as Tesla will have to address build quality and continue to innovate and evolve to keep pace. If you're specifically not interested in Tesla, now you'll have more options and getting you into a BEV will move us all closer to sustainable future. It's a win-win all the way around.
