Is the 2023 Model X suspension just not refined?

I considered that but it wasn't necessary when I upgraded to the PX.

Is the 2023 Model X suspension just not refined?

Late '22 Y's got the comfort suspension, which may be why it was better than the X. I missed out on that by maybe 2 months in my Sept '22 PY.

Anyone try Hankook iON i*cept SUV winter tires

Saw good reviews of Hankook all season tires. Wondering if anyone's been able to try their winter tires. I'm not able to find them at Tire Rack or Discount Tire. I'll want a square setup on my 20x9 wheels. My backup plan would be X-Ice, which I've had on my 3 & Y...

    Spring release 2024.14 for 23-24 Model X

I'm long overdue for an update too (although not as overdue as you). I usually get one around day 3 of a wide release. That means I should have had 14.6 yesterday. Got passed over by 14.5 as well. I've been on 8.9 since Apr 8th. FSD v11.1 sucks on 8.9.

Should I buy used MX 2016 P90D Founder series with expired warranty?

Agreed go with a 3 or Y for your first. They have the better tech. Then you'll realized all that you're missing with an 8 year old Tesla.

Did you try cheetah mode? I've never tried it, but suspect it probably no longer works on mine due to maxing out the rear.

Alternative, DIY refresh Model X rear camber correction

I have Blox Racing lowering links, which aren't as expensive, but require setting a length with calipers, which is why my measurements are +mm over stock. So I'm a little lower in the back and a lot lower in the front, compared to yours. If your max setting is -9, I suspect our links are...

Alternative, DIY refresh Model X rear camber correction

Had no trouble getting in for my second alignment today. Dropped it off and it was done 30 minutes before my appointment time. Again, I gave them N2itive's recommended alignment settings. Lowering the front wheels with lowering links increased the front camber from -1.0° to -1.2°. I was...

    Rebooting does not work

See the links that Scott posted in post #3 above. Anything that doesn't use the right wheel should be fair game, but in all fairness, you already tried the power down and that didn't work.

Fix 2017 Model X suspension issues, or trade in for a new Y?

Others would know the history more than me, but I would think it would become an option for an EOQ push to boost sales, so possibly as soon as June maybe? Being a caregiver sucks. My wife has MS and suddenly needed a cane last summer and now we need a wheelchair for any place not close to the...

Fix 2017 Model X suspension issues, or trade in for a new Y?

I'd wait until the option of transferring FSD/or charging again. FSD is just an expensive toy now, but it may be more helpful to you in a year or two.

    Rebooting does not work

What is "nothing"? Does that mean the car didn't reboot, or it didn't fix your issue?

    21+ Model X PWS speaker

On the 3 & Y it was behind the front right tire and could be accessed from there. On the Y, you'd see a round pattern of holes in the underbelly pan. I would assume the X is the same way.

Alternative, DIY refresh Model X rear camber correction

I had -1.4° rear camber on the left and -1.1° on right after shimming with the thicker red shims and adding lowering links to the rear. The rear was lowered no more than an inch. I lowered the front (+6 mm on the lowering links) and maxed out the rear (+9 mm) last weekend. Today I added 2.5 mm...

Who's lowered their X? (pics or it never happened)

Who's lowered their Model X? What did you use? Pics or it never happened! I used Blox lowering links, 9 mm longer than stock in the rear, which just happened to be the max, and 3mm longer in the front. I have camber shims in the back, but think I need a little more shim, especially now. On my...

(MXP) I cannot decide between black and cream interiors (out is no-go from the boss), is black monotonous?

I had white on my '18 LR3 and '22 PY. Now I have cream and like it better. White showed blue jean stain too easily. I have no opinion about the perforated/cooled seats tho. I took delivery in Feb.

Did anyone go from a Raven to the refresh? Thoughts?

The only issue we had with our '24 PX (delivery last Feb), was a scratch on the left rear, which they buffed out and the right front door, which is a little low when open, so sometimes doesn't want to latch. Mobile service's fix was to tweak the striker. (Really?) Possibly 10% better, but not...

    Wheel Spacers on Model X

Just tweaked my lowering links (lower) yesterday. My rears look like this, but my fronts are more like the other picture with the flat ends. I have not done any measurements yet, but when I install my square winter wheel set (9J*20, ET 40), I'm considering a 35 mm rear and maybe a 20 mm front.

    General G-MAX AS-07 Tires on Model X

Why don't you add some camber shims to fix the rear tire issue? Less than $100 in parts, plus $100 alignment. Add $100 if you have the shop install them. You don't want Tesla to align it tho. They'd look at what you have now and say, "within spec".

Model Y Uberturbine wheels on a Model X

I bought the foot sensor later as part of an upgrade for my M3, but never installed it. It wasn't available for my '24 PX. I had a lot of trouble with water doing funky things to my trunk and especially the frunk, like beeping and opening on its own, twice in a car wash. They replaced the...

    Wheel Spacers on Model X

Alternative, DIY refresh Model X rear camber correction

Yes, I was the one who made the statement about corrosion. Possibly the same people, although I paid $85 for my red set. I will say the...

My problem is there aren't any locals selling the wheels and the ones I see are about the same price, with summer tires that don't fit, or curbed and 200 miles away.
