Our 7 year x still feels like a car from the future. I love the no maintenance aspect . Also my home is my gas station is so convenient and cheap with solar. I had a bmw, fun to drive but got really expensive to maintain, especially with multiple systems failing.

Mine was built before June , picked up mid June. My only complaint got black cameras instead of chrome ones, but fsd works well

My friend has one with over 200k. No issues Supercharged all the time as he uses as a delivery service. His was 2017 also.

My 2017 x 100d has been fantastic. No issues with the fwd. I will keep forever, leather seats still look new. Only issue was yellow ring around mcu1, but I updated to mcu2 and no issues. Fantastic vehicle.

I have a 2017 x, I bought fsd when they had a fire sale. They upgraded my computer to hw3, and replaced all my cameras. Fsd works great, as good as my 2023 y

I have a 2017 x. I bought fsd years ago. To make it functional, all the cameras had to be replaced. I payed for Mcu1-mcu2. Also hw3 was installed. I think fsd is amazing to watch, but still needs to be watched like a hawk.

Have you tried shutting down car?

They texted me, only offered fsd transfer. Don’t want to give up free supercharge

I have both vehicles. X is definitely a more comfortable car/suspension, but it’s bigger, feels bigger driving it. My performance y definitely more fun to drive, fits in parking spaces better, but definitely a more jarring suspension.

Offered me Uber credit.

Yes They replaced all of my cameras. Only issue I have is they are black now, instead of chrome

Definitely get the 100d. Good family car. Our 6/17 100d has real leather vs new pleather. It’s plenty fast. I updated to mcu2 hw3, much better.

Ours is 6 1/2 years old, never noticed any leaking. Maybe you should make appointment, have seals replaced.

White is a good choice, our 6 1/2 year old white x still looks new. We have black interior but it’s leather. Fake leather in our 6 year old 3 holding up well.

If buying used, I’d look for a lease return vs buying someone else’s lemon. Also I’d buy new vs 2023. At least you would get hardware 4 and radar.

We’ve had ours 61/2 years. Main reason is that you can’t roll them, unlike all other suv. No maintenance and the gas station is in my garage

We compared both, the leather was more supportive plus the cloth seats felt like the ones in my 2004 Tacoma. After 61/2 years, still look new.

I think so, all I know, when we picked up our x, in mid June, we were told you got last of leather, which I payed extra for. Other option was cloth, which was awful.

Tesla eliminated leather option in 7/17. We have a 6/17 with leather option. I like leather better than the vegan option.

I think my 6/17 already sc05, however unless transferred fsd and unlimited connectivity also, I would not consider.

We have a 6/17 x100d. If I don’t speed and temperature is mild , I can get the rated range. I think 330. I thought transferable free supercharge ended in January/17, but maybe in Europe it’s different. I know ours is not.

Our older x is a much nicer car than our new y. Fsd works ok on old x. I didn’t pony up the 15k for new y fsd since old x will still be our travel vehicle.

6/17 , 63,000, been pretty perfect, will keep at least another 6 years. Have a new performance y, fun to drive but old x superior ride and comfort.

I have a 2017 with fsd and hw3, and I worry that when they roll out true hand free, only cars with cameras will get the update and our older camera less cars will always need a slight pressure on steering wheel

If it’s a private party sale free supercharge should transfer. I think you can update the mcu to get a faster unit (mcu-2). I’m not sure when fsd changed. If it had hardwhere 1, don’t think upgrade possible. If it just has a chrome piece above each wheel well, not upgradable, but if has cameras...

We bought because of safety. At the time , only suv that would not roll in an emergency. Also, car is a tank. Odds are you will survive a crash, not necessarily the car that hit you.

Our 6/17 x100d , brights instantly come on . I don’t believe we have fog lights, part of 5000 premium upgrade we passed on.

In San Diego, if you’re on tou, during summer between 4-9 it’s .80. Of peak , .46. We put panels up 8 years ago, have 45. Get 1 to 1 for 12 more years.
