They were working on them today. The covers were off of all 12. No magic dock adapter In sight.

It’s not. People regularly have their two week windows slip a week at a time, often when they’re actually in the window. Think of it as being close to the front but the scheduler doesn’t really know. You’ll get a VIN out if the blue and if you don’t they’ll just keep pushing your window back...

That’s our plan. We want maximum range but we opted for the MYP because it’s faster… to be delivered.

We ordered in late March and had to pause once because we went out of town during the predicted June window and our new window was July 20-August 3. On July 20 it got pushed to July 26-August 9 so, like you, we’re entering our window today and hoping for a car and not a delay. Good luck!!!

Yup. I’m only mad because I’m excited.

In January we actually talked to SunRun and two other installers but in addition to much higher panel costs they wanted $16,000 per powerwall (we got teo) rather than ~$6,500 each from Tesla. I just couldn’t justify it.

I don't think there's a definitive word on the matter but I've long voiced the opinion that while Tesla hasn't publicly nixed FSD and MCU1 the reality is that once they roll out FSD/MCU2 widely they'll find it makes more economic sense to upgrade the few remaining MCU1/FSD-paid vehicles to MCU2...

MCU1, FSD, HW3 No invite, and I think it's going to be a looong time. My guess is that they won't do any camera upgrades for MCU1 until they finish all MCU2, and then they'll finally admit they'll never make a FSD codebase for MCU1 and will be forced to upgrade MCU1 with FSD to MCU2 for free...

Our X is on 2018.12 and about a month ago it started restarting the MCU while driving every couple hundred miles. We finally got a firmware update alert this week so we're installing tonight and hopefully that will take care of it. Otherwise it's off to the service center we go.
