With how unpredictable the edd’s are I wouldn’t bet on it. Also there were some SR people who had July edd’s and got their vins today/yesterday.

Yeah I am - also taking bets on how many vins we see on June 1 after their Model Y promotion ends lol.

I have a feeling performances are going to be bounced around too. If you go through June without getting a VIN then maybe consider it. But from what I've seen in these forums, my guess is you wouldn't get the performance until June, July, or August anyways. Just my thoughts.

Looks like they increased the overall price of the performance by $1000 ($54,990) so they made the white int free to keep it under the credit cap if chosen with stealth grey.

They pretty much are though in their own way. They're not explicity stating in the text that it's the white interior that's delaying the order, but it obviously is. I've gotten multiple texts to "change my configuration to receive a vehicle earlier".

If the LR and SR both qualified for the tax credit up until Jan 1 of this year when the restrictions went into effect, and now said restrictions are apparently delayed, why wouldn’t those models qualify again?

That's pretty much how my EDD's have been fluctuating. Was June to August before it moved to just June.. for only a week. But since you have a long range I'm sure you'll be getting yours asap.

Mine also updated to 7/28-9/1 today. WHY did they even move my edd last week to June if they're just going to move it out another 2 months the next week?? Who the hell knows. This isn't even fun anymore tbh.

Have to agree with you here that it's all hope. The dates moving to the last 2 weeks of the quarter is the same situation as all of the people who had "Mar 15-Mar 30th" dates. Time will tell.

It's really strange.. It seems like some people were pushed back into August a few weeks ago (me included) while others were moved up to May-June ish. Now the people that were in June are being pushed to August while the later people are being moved up to June (mine updated to 6/17-6/30...

My guess is the fact that 95% of these are all long ranges are from people who switched to Performance when it came out. Most if not all people in this group who got VIN’s had long range models.

The one directly next to the yellow can looks like it could be one. The rest of them look like Y's to me based on the size of the headlights.

I also have a date in August. June 30th - August 10th. Also in Chicago like the commenter a fews posts above. I know some of you are still showing May dates so I’m looking at that as a positive sign. Maybe the August dates will update to be sooner.

I'm not 100% sure on this but from what I've seen others say, you can transfer it to other configurations or models, but if you cancel outright you will most likely lose it.

Mine also just changed to June 30th - August 11th after being at May7th -June 11th for only a week and half. Gutted.

Does that option just go away when you apply for financing/lock in your loan? I haven’t had the option to edit design since late February and my EDD is April 5th-May 10th.

I see that Tesla’s website updated their window for white interiors from just May to now April-May. Surely that bodes well for us white interior people that we’ll most likely see our cars in April. Fingers crossed!
