I figured it out. They moved the messages. The used to be a tab when I had my phone app pulled up on the screen, now it is a stand alone messages app.

Main and sub are beside each other. Yea I think the max number of mini breakers have been used. Maybe I could squeeze a couple more. The entire 50 amp path just ends up being quite a bit more expensive. I’m not sure I’d ever NEED it.

So just a bit of follow up. Bought the car, and when the ownership transferred I was able to determine CARFAX was right. Battery and drive unit warranty are good through march 2026. Not sure what recurrent was looking at for its warranty projection but it was off by 14 months.

Sure but in this case impossible to be in service in January if it wasn’t built until August.

Here is what recurrent shows: Implying the warranty started in January of 2017 not just simply that the battery was built in 2017.

Well got a picture of build date: august 2017 so there is no way recurrent can be right about a battery in service date of January 2017

I guess build date would be worst case. Which could help.

Build date and in service date don’t necessarily correlate. It my understanding with all other cars the warranty starts with in service date

Not sure why you wouldn’t give FSD any value. It is a feature on the car that does add value. Now for how much value, well that’s up for debate, but it has to be considered.

Ok good, I didn't want to get a strike for using ludicrous as designed.

Just to be clear. Is it possible to get a strike for any driving activities while not in FSD. Such as accelerating or braking too quickly? I was under the impression the car is always watching you to make sure you are being safe.

How long will wrap last? Does it mess up the paint? Is it hard to remove?

If it’s a 2020 you still have quite a lot of battery warranty remaining. If it is a problem it will reveal itself before warranty expires.

I did some looking. It looks like the interior camera did not make its way to the MS until 2021.

You say hardware limitations. I read an article where Tesla programmed the M3 to use regular brakes (electronically) below the regen low speed threshold to simulate one pedal driving to a full stop. The article just failed to mention model S. Hence the question

I want to buy now, but after watching the market for a month, the prices have been falling pretty fast. I wonder when 2017-2020 model Ss will stop depreciating faster than the rest of the used car market. Nobody wants to spend 50k today on a car that will be 40k tomorrow.

Hum, I’ve had cars with adaptive suspension before, a couple vettes and currently an AMG Mercedes and if I’m being honest it’s nothing to write home about. Do you think if I was able to test drive each I’d definitely be able to feel the difference?
