You can do it on the spot. I did a small deposit via ACH and brought a check from my bank for the rest. They didn't get it until I inspected the car fully. You can setup the bank info prior to it, but not submit the payment until you are ready to fully take ownership of the car.

Well I finally received my new car! Ordered on Sept 16th and so far everything looks great on it. It’s already at my local detailer to get tint and PPF installed. Sucks to only drive it from the dealer to the detailer, but worth it to have the PPF installed on day 1!

Update 9/29: EDD 6-15 Oct. I texted the Tesla number yesterday and they claimed a rough delivery of 7 Oct. so this new App update seems to be inline with the text message. So excited to get it!
